Why HelpHikes Pro is priced so low ($25 only)!

HelpHikes Pro does not work on Windows Vista yet. We are looking into this. If you are using Windows Vista, please look at our product WhizFolders.
First of all, you should note that HelpHikes Pro supports only WinHelp help generation (no HTML Help). It has all the features of WinHelp generation that are needed to create a non-trivial help file with proper keyword indexes and table of contents. You can even create very big help files. But in our opinion, the product has matured, and we are no longer developing this product further. That's why the cost is low.
Also, we hope that you have already used our freeware product WhizNote to confirm that its help authoring features work on your system. HelpHikes Pro is an extension of WhizNote for help authoring features. Both HelpHikes Pro and WhizNote use a 16-bit EXE along with 32-bit DLLS. These programs run fine on Windows 98 and XP systems. Occasionally, we hear of a user unable to run them on some XP systems. The reason may be some compatibility setting in Windows. We are not sure. That's why, you should first try WhizNote to see if it works on your system. If WhizNote works, HelpHikes Pro will have no problems.
